LEAH
Her father expired some years ago. Due to financial constraints, the mother of two children is facing much difficulty in providing a good education to them. Leah has been admitted to class II and she is in Birissa cottage. Her health is good.


JOYDIP
Joydip reads in class VII. His parents are divorced, his mother has terminal cancer and her illness is preventing her from taking proper care of her children. He would benefit from shelter and education provided at the homes.


ADRIAN
Adrian reads in class II. His father deserted them and mother has no job. The mother and two children get food and shelter from other people. The child has been taken in as a free boarder.


SEBASTIAN
He is in L.K.G. Sebastian's father has left them and keep no contact and the mother is unemployed. They live in the house of a friend who also give them food. The child will surely benefit from the education at The Homes.


SHANNON
She reads in class I. Her father does private service and earns little money. Her mother has left them. They are staying with their grandmother who is very aged and cannot look after the children. She will definitely be benefited from the education at The Homes.


SABRINA
She also rears in class I. Her father is rickshaw puller and earns very little per day. This hardly meets their essential requirements. On the recomendation of the President of Anglo-Indian Association, Kharagpur, the child has been taken in.


ROSALIND
Rosalind's father has left them and have no contact with the family. It is very for the mother to look after the family and therefore she has requested Homes to take the child, where she will have better life and eduacation. She has been taken in class IV.

CHERYL
Cheryl's parents have parted and gone away. The child is being looked after by her old grandmother who has very poor eye sight. The child remains home alone when her grandmother goes out to get some help from people. If she does not get any, then they go without food that day. Their condition is very critical. The child has been taken in Homes. She will be definitely benefited. She is in L.K.G.

DOMINIC
Dominic's father is working in railways. His mother is housewife. They live in railway quarter, the surrounding of which is full of bad elements. He is a good student and was studying in a private Church school which is up to class V and there is no other school in the locality. He has been taken in class V at Homes, otherwise the child's education will cease.

TRAVIS
Travis has lost his mother, father is a drug addict and does not take care of the children. Travis was adopted by his parental uncle and was left to his grandmother, who takes care of him. The boy's father beats the child regularly. The parental uncle does not go to duty regularly and he is on the verge of being released from his post, which will make the matters worse for the child. Travis has been taken in Homes and admitted to U.K.G.

DONALD
Donald's father is working as a gangman in Railways and he is an alcoholic. He hardly goes to work and hence no money comes in. This results in daily quarrel in the family because of very little food they can afford to buy. Donald is an intelligent and talented child. If he remains in the atmosphere, he is presently in, his whole life will be marred. Considering all these the child has been taken in the Home and he reads in class IV. He receives here love, care and good education.

SYLVESTER
Sylvester's father has left them, his mother is a low blood pressure patient and she collects their ration from Mother Teresa's Missionaries of charity. The environment where they live is infested with notorious people. The child has been taken in the Homes in L.K.G.

NAKITA
Nakita's father has left them. Her mother, with two children, stays with her parents. Nakita's grandmother studied at the Homes and she knows about the care and complete education given to the anglo-indian children at the Homes. She is interested to get her grandchildren admitted at the Homes. Nakita has been admitted as a beginner.

ANTANET
Antanet lives with her mother, who works as a maid to a lady. She gets food and medicine for herself and for her daughter in return. The child could not attend any school. Considering these grim circumstances, the child has been taken in the Homes in U.K.G.
